Our Admissions Process

Step 1
Complete our online application or download our PDF application here. You can drop the application at Black Rhino Academy or scan and email it to secretary@blackrhinoacademy.org

Step 2
Pay our 50,000/= application fee by LIPA number (5719520) or into our Exim Bank Account (TSH Acct: 0120008330)

Step 3
All applicants for Year 1 and up will undergo some assessment testing. After we receive your application, someone from our admissions team will get back to you within 2 business days to schedule an assessment.

Step 4
Final interview with Head of School or Deputy Head. Interviews can be combined with assessment in Step 3 should traveling to school again create an unnecessary burden to the student and parents.

Step 5
You will receive an admissions decision from us within 1 week after the final assessment and interview.
There are 4 decisions possible:
1) Accepted
2) Conditional Acceptance
3) Waitlisted
4) Rejected

Registration fee (due after a place has been offered) 300,000/=. This fee is only necessary if the first instalment of school fees is not paid immediately after accepting the place and will be credited towards your school fees.

School and Boarding fees can be paid annually or in three instalments before the beginning of each term. 

Below you can find our admissions criteria based on age. Please notice that our school year starts at the end of August. We accept student throughout the school year but recommend joining at the beginning of the school year or at the beginning of Term 2 in January
